Taking shape - Like to get involved?

Wow what a fab response Thank You,

I'm very excited by the project - please spread the word.
There are some brilliant ideas including:

A "virtual" Quilt stitched together using photographs as a collage for people who cannot make a physical square.

A gallery of photographs, writing, poems , sculpture even in fact something creative that captures the theme "alone we whisper Togethe We Shout"

So if you read it and thought I'm not creative enough to do a square please get involved it could be a video or a song with words that makes you think of this.

I'm really keen to find a way for as many people as want to take part.

Please message me when your ready and I will give you my address to send your contribution too, or give you some ideas if your a bit stuck.

I wil post some pictures for inspiration shortly

  1. Beth you could use photo fabric printing to get poems and pictures on to squares that can then be embellished with stitching ... Dxxx

  2. Hi, I wrote this when I was still in my teens! Seems impossible to believe it's been that long, but I'd love you to include it on the quilt if you can. It means a lot to me :)))

    Sonnet to Chance

In life, what choices seem to crowd the way
    and opportunities abound. Brief time
sheds hours and minutes come what may,
while bells for babes and brides and bodies chime.

To work or rest? To wander or remain?
With dazzling chance we dance throughout the night.
And glowing morning sparkles through the rain,
to fill the new found dawn with dewy light.

Yet none can guarantee a day of sun,
if pain and lack of hope are all we see.
When chance dissolves - through impotence undone,
the choice becomes to be or not to be.

Though neither satisfies yet both apply.
In truth I walk and breathe and yet I die.
